Title: Trajectory Rating: PG-13 for violent imagery Prompt: 73 Bullet Word Count: 100 Description: The physics of a gunshot can never match the reality. Author’s Note: You can all thank Muse’s Thoughts of a Dying Atheist for this one.

Title: The Law of Diminishing Returns Rating: PG-13 for violent imagery Prompt: 89 Midnight Word Count: 200 Description: The brothers deal with nightmares in their own way. Author’s Note: Kind of a warm-up for my next, considerably more angsty fic. I’ve dreamt of dying violently on multiple occasions, and every time, upon waking I feel this numb chill at the point where the bullet/knife/weapon entered in my nightmare. Creepy, to say the least, and a source of inspiration. Looking back at the prompts list, I realized in retrospect that this one was supposed to be more festive...heh, don’t mind me blowing that apart in honor of the June theme.
( The Law of Diminishing Returns )
An explanation of the title - the Law of Diminishing Returns is an economic concept which states that beyond a certain point in a production system, for each additional unit of input, the increase in output (marginal returns) will decrease. For example, each additional slice of pizza you eat will bring you less pleasure than the previous. In the drabble, Don realizes that each additional crime he witnesses has brought less nightmares than the previous...until one day, he may feel nothing at all staring at a dead body.

Title: Fluid Dynamics Rating: NC-17 for explicit sexual situations Spoilers: Bones of Contention (S2 E10) Warnings: Incest Word Count: 5,139 Description: Charlie has more than just hugging on his mind when he chases Don into the koi pond. A new theory of fluid dynamics is postulated, and subsequently tested by the brothers…together. In the shower. Author's Note: For last summer's fic fest over at eppescest (anyone up for a second run?). I loved the ending of this episode to pieces <3 and I couldn't help but extrapolate it to...well, its logical conclusion in the mind of us slashers ^_~. Fun fact: The Navier-Stokes equations mentioned in the fic are a set of differential equations used to model fluid flow; the proof of their existence and smoothness in 3 dimensions is, in fact, one of the Millennium Prize Problems, along with the Riemann Hypothesis and our favorite P vs. NP.

Title: Burst Rating: PG for mild violence Characters: Don Eppes, Charlie Eppes Spoilers: Uncertainty Principle (S1 E02) Word Count: 300 Prompt: 163 Strike Description: Don tries to get Charlie to face the truth about their mother's condition. Author's Note: I was playing around with the idea of a flashback fic, specifically Don confronting Charlie about their mom. After watching Uncertainty Principle, and seeing how Charlie flinches when Don grabs his arm, I got the idea for this scenario - truly the breaking point, I think, in their past relationship.

Title: Safe Rating: G Word Count: 243 Description: It's more than just saving the world. Author's Note: I always enjoy contrasting the Eppes brothers and the way they see their work. Title: Random Variables Rating: PG Pairing: Don x Charlie Word Count: 1,205 Description: Their relationship was full of probabilities, but no matter how Charlie looked at them, it all came down to one value. Author's Note: Best application of my probability theory course, ever XD. Of course, I took artistic liberty with the mathematical metaphors, so you'll have to forgive bastardization of certain terms. Just think - it's all in the name of true sibling love!

Title: The Last Ingredient Rating: NC-17 for semi-explicit sexual situations Pairing: Georik x Germant, Mephistopheles x Georik Word Count: 2,090 Description: With only one ingredient left to create the homunculus, Georik must search inside himself for the truth of his desires…and the darkness that awaits him in Mephistopheles’ arms. Author’s Note: Anyone who’s played the Soup of Life chapter knows what I’m talking about by the title alone *smirk* I wanted to indulge in my favorite OTP angst without sacrificing the delectableness of demonic seduction, which is why you get this lust triangle of sorts. As they say, the more, the merrier.

Title: Gavel and a Hard Place Rating: G Pairing: OFC x Edgeworth, Wright x Edgeworth (eventually) Word Count: 10,251 Description: The matchmaking continues with yours truly, Maya’s blind date selection. If Edgeworth thought Larry’s taste in women was bad, he’d better get ready for a full-on assault this time. Meanwhile, Pearl discovers an interesting mystery at the courthouse library… Author’s Note: Haha, more crack! This date was a really fun riff of the old Mary Sue stereotypes; I definitely turned to Regina Berry for inspiration. Also building up for the main plotline at the very end, which we will get to shortly in the next chapter. Previous: Chapter 1

Title: Gavel and a Hard Place Rating: G Pairing: OFC x Edgeworth, Wright x Edgeworth (eventually) Word Count: 7,769 Description: After the DL-6 trial, Edgeworth lets slip a crucial secret...which earns him a one-way ticket to Larry and co's Matchmaking Extravaganza. Hilarity ensues. Author’s Note: Joint crack fic written with queenofbatpig XD although later chapters will contain some serious moments and angst <3. I bent the timeline a little, allowing Pearl to come in early despite the fact that she doesn't show up till GS2-2 in canon. Don't worry, there's a reason for it later on.

Title: Anchor at Fifteen Stories Rating: PG Pairing: Wright x Edgeworth Word Count: 1,579 Description: Edgeworth slips away to indulge a smoke, but Phoenix sees more in it than just vice. Author’s Note: An exercise in atmospheric writing, mostly. Takes place before the last day of the GS1-5 trial. The stress smoking was drawn from a short drabble I read; Miles always struck me as someone who would have a secret vice that went against his pristine image.

Title: Pathology Rating: PG Word Count: 13,996 Description: The CDC contemplates serious action, and the President makes a critical decision. Princeton-Plainsboro finds itself battling for resources to stay afloat. Author's Note: Why was this chapter so long to write T_T. Mostly setting up the grand stage for future maneuverings, so unfortunately, you won't see as much of PPTH here except some token scenes with House, Wilson, and the ducklings. Not to worry, H/W shippers will find much more to chew on in the next chapter (which is again, extremely freaking long >_O as I attempt to bring in more 24 people). Previous: Chapter 8

A temporary remedy is proposed, and the oak tree by the lake is finally put to good use. Author's Note: Haha! Finally wrote a PWP for these two XD sorry, this was supposed to go out on February 14th, but clearly, I was preoccupied for over a week so you're only getting it now. Still can't believe the length it ballooned to (no pun intended). Wrote most of the sex while sipping vodka shots, too. Some mild spoilers for Insensitive in the beginning, as it continues from that day's morning.

Title: Pathology Rating: PG Pairing: House/Wilson friendship (it builds up slowly, but it does eventually get there, I promise XD) Word Count: 5,516 Description: House wrestles with the diagnosis further, but comes up with little of worth except one ominous fact. Meanwhile, the hospital is put under quarantine and Wilson begins to grow sicker… Author's Note: Long time, no update ^^; so sorry about that. Will try to write faster in the future. I've got everything outlined in detail up to Chapter 12 (which marks the end of the first part), but have been writing the scenes out of order. Hopefully, the patchwork doesn't come through in the final story. Previous: Chapter 7

Title: To Take the Rain Rating: PG-13 for mild sexual situations Pairing: House/Wilson Word Count: 393 Description: Not all dreams need end with the rain. Author's Note: Just indulging myself in between finals with a bit of second-person POV (from Wilson's point) angst-driven almost-smut drabble. I actually enjoy writing this type of stream of consciousness the most. Probably will do a series of little ficlets in the near future, given my procrastination skills. Title: The Trouble with Ties Rating: PG for just a hint of perversity Pairing: House/Wilson Word Count: 385 Description: There's a reason why House memorized Wilson's tie collection... Author's Note: To celebrate finishing studying for my final tomorrow, I wrote a flufftasticly sweet House/Wilson tie banter drabble. Because it's shiny. Also, to compensate for the painful angst that was the last episode. Originally planned to go a little further than simply insinuations, but...well, I'm sure more will come as I procrastinate further on studying for my next few exams.
( The Trouble with Ties )
Title: The Problem with Pens Rating: G for overwhelming fluff Pairing: House/Wilson Word Count: 529 Description: Pens are useful for more than signing papers. Author's Note: Continuing the series, another drabble inspired by this screencap. This one's even more lighthearted than the last, if that's even possible, so do excuse me if it feels OOC given the most recent episode's developments.

Title: Fading Rating: PG Pairing: House/Wilson friendship break-up Word Count: 1,473 Description: Alternative ending to Whac-a-Mole. House stops and has a few words with Wilson in the end, amidst the rain-swept streets. Some further lines are drawn. Things start to crack. Author's Note: Wrote this not long after the episode aired, in fact, but then got slammed by a torrent of classwork and really didn't have time to finish writing it till now. Hopefully, if you rewatch the episode and then read this, it still fits. Doesn't lose its emotional edge. Special thanks to continuum for the dialogue and beta.
